World Interaction Design Day Celebrated at Chandigarh Colleges – Inspiring Design Futures
Chandigarh, Jan 2025 – Two of Chandigarh’s leading educational institutions recently hosted World Interaction Design Day (iXDD), bringing young students closer to the fast-evolving world of UX, animation, and storytelling.
Led by iXDA Local Leader Vineet Raj Kapoor and organized in collaboration with Chandigarh Design School and SXILL, the events were held on January 24 at PGGC-46 and January 29 at Government Polytechnic for Women, Sector 10, attracting more than 500 students and faculty combined.
The sessions were interactive and deeply insightful. Vineet Raj Kapoor, a renowned UX Design Mentor and Game Design Educator, shared the global vision of iXDA and how interaction design plays a pivotal role in today’s digital world. He encouraged students to explore unconventional career paths and think beyond traditional boundaries.

Mangat Chauhan, Head of Production at Virtualsoft, broke down the animation film-making process and shared behind-the-scenes knowledge about creative roles in the industry—from scripting to rendering.
What stood out most was the open dialogue with students, where questions ranged from mimicry and storywriting to UX Design and animation. Kapoor responded with clear strategies and inspirational stories, leaving many students with newfound clarity about their creative journey.
