Stoke Your Fires has been animating Stoke-on-Trent for the past three years, but it’s changing. Stoke Your Fires the Festival of Moving Image is expanding and will be bringing an array of exciting film, animation and digital media events to the Midlands in 2011.
Events will include a four day convention with amazing international speakers, 3 major exhibitions, premieres from local new talent and established artists, a 48-hour film challenge, exciting activities for all ages and the prestigious Stoke Your Fires Awards.

The artist, celebrated for his distinguished career, from 1945-1987, as a filmmaker and later as the head of the animation department at the National Film Board of Canada (NFB), is credited with works such as the Oscar-nominated 'The Romance of Transportation in Canada,' Ryan Larkin’s ‘Walking,’ and many others.
Launches include ‘Shangri-La Frontier’ Season 1 Part 2, ‘Berserk of Gluttony,’ ‘One Piece’ Collection 37 and ‘Chillin’ in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers.’
