International Drawing and Storyboarding Workshop by German Artist Lisa
Lisa Kirschman is doing a 6 part International Workshop on Drawing and Storyboarding.
Lisa Kirschman is a German Artist. She is a Masters in Animation from Bournemoth. Before that she had done her Bachelors in Animation from Central University, Lancashire, UK.
Lisa started right from basic drawing to putting more character and gesture and then on acting choices, use of color, layout and then onto creating the frames and storyboarding using camera angles to tell the story – she’s practically covered all of the field into 6 crisp and engaging lectures. She literally had students glued to their seats and she took control from thousands of miles away to involve students and taking them to learning journeys with her as she traveled the world of toons at each piece or character they pass by and dropping information around those scene to make the concept more acceptable.
Lisa used examples from Live Movies as well as Animated ones, and also used examples from Youtube lectures, selfhelp websites as well as leading books and authors to explain her points clearly.
These 6 sessions were spread over 6 weeks and the students did a lot of personal assignments that helped them understand all of these concepts.
