Arena Chandigarh celebrates Lohri
Lohri Celebrations
Lohri was celebrated at Arena Animation Chandigarh campus with a lot of exuberance and fanfare. The mood on the campus was upbeat and the students were totally absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri. The function started with speeches in English and Punjabi highlighting the importance of the festival of Lohri, which ushers in the cheerful spring season bidding adieu to the dull winter.
The students and teachers sang songs immersed in rich cultural folklore of Punjab. Lohri is the harvest festival of Punjab, famously known as the bread-basket state of India.
